Has anyone seen these types of leads before? and if so are they anygood? i have been told genuine Ford leads are good for lpg.

not a v8 owner anymore :( , so no not familiar with these leads sorry, but i`m a bit of a fan of the factory leads for the daily driver, an auto magazine did an article on ignition parts a few years ago and the factory ones got a good report amongst some more expensive aftermarket ones, let us know how you go.

amiers hit up QLD Ignition Leads at Kallangur(just up from Maccas and BP)
they have had some GOOD reviews(not sure re: lpg or V8 but yeah) good prices too

For the I6 ... QLD Ignition leads are good ... i have run a couple of sets previously and they handled LPG well ... and the heat as well.
For V8 ... my mechanic tried a few different leads ... and ended up with the factory ones again on his AUIII XR8.

well thats about 50/50. for both leads. im tempted to go for the Ford leads at 150.00, i rang QLD ignition and they want 185.00 and extra for the heat shields.
do i have to have heat shields on all the leads? the guy at QLD didnt think so. my leads at the moment have a large heat proof material sock around all of them. they are quiet large and cover the leads for about 6 inches. |
