Default Meteorite colour

Hey guys,
Haven't been around this part of the forum since I sold my AU but Im back for a bit of AU action on my BA :
Im getting a BF GT front bar on my xr8 and wanting to paint the lower intake and fog light surrounds in a silver thats similar to the spokes on my rims. I was looking at Mercury silver for a while but I think it will be a little brighter than I want. Then I came across this photo from GC AFD (picture below) of an AU in a darker silver than Mercury. A little research tells me there was an AU colour "K6 Meteorite". But Im not sure what it looks like. Can anyone confirm for me that it is darker than Mercury, it appears to be the case from the photo if that is the colour unless it is a custom colour. Anyone got any other photos of it aswell so I can see how it looks in different light, or any closeups of the sparkle??
Any help is much appreciated
cheers
Luke

Hey Luke, Meteroide is defiantly a fair bit darker then Mercury Silver, my Wife has a Meteroide AU Wagon & my parents have a Mercury Silver BA XT, I thought they we're nearly identical until I parked her car next to there's.

Need a photo?

Yes Adam a photo would be great. Even greater if you can have them both parked next to each other?

Thanks mate, there's been quite a bit of money spent on it in the last year that I've owned it to get it where I want visually, upgraded the brakes now to spend a bit on the motor and take it to the track

Might have to turn your head sideways, if the sun comes out in the next couple of days I'll grab some close up shots for you.
