Default Wildcat Extractors

Hello, has anyone heard of them...and are they any good compared to the usuall ones mentioned in this forum?

Wildcat which are a good reliable brand of extractors and will do a great job on your car. The $380 which is our special price, would be our best price. It will include fitting and a 2 year warranty.

Thoughts?

I've heard of them before, and ive heard that they are fairly reasonable for a 'middle range' brand of extractors but also nothing really rave about.
Pacemaker seem to be the top choice at the moment.. I dont think you can really put them in the same class.
But the price isnt bad...

Price isnt' that flash I don't think... There's places here in Brisbane that do Pacemakers fitted for $400 (for 4499's, the 4480's are a little dearer). I'd stick with tried and tested. I'm sure anything will be a fair improvement, just might as well get the most bang for your buck I reckon.

I think paccie comps (4480) were around $470-480 fitted but don't quote me on that. The $400 fitted was for the pacemaker 'non-comps' (4499). The place I got that price from didn't seem to think it was worthwhile getting the comps, so I've decided to go through RDP (they seem to know their stuff for AU's) once I get the cash together. I think they're a little dearer than this other place, but seeing as they're a forum sponsor hopefully they'll look after me. I know there's a 10% discount for FF members, so that might bring it down to the same sort of prices as this other place.

That's for headers for a V8, I'm talking I6's which I guess accounts for the price difference, since it's one piece rather than a pair of headers.

Wildcats are made by genie but they are the cheaper garden variety with press metal bends unlike normal Genies with mandrel bends as stated by Blackers10 above.
