Hello,
has anyone been able to successfully pair an LG Mobile phone via Bluetooth to the audio system? I seem to be able to enter the PIN Code but then the system keeps saying that the bonding has failed. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi,
Thanks for the info/link... I have a LG KF750 Secret, so it should work. Will give it another go and see what happens. |

Try different combinations when pairing! e.g. turn on last, then turn on first different combinations seems to work make sure on your phone under Paired Devices that the Ford Mondeo is there if not then try again I have the Nokia but it should be the same I hope

I've managed to pair a Nokia N95, HTC Touch Dual, and an iPhone 3G.
I found it a bit fiddly, and you have to select the phone you want to have connected (only one can be paired at any one time).

Zippy7: How do you delete the phone from the cars bluetooth system? I have since changed the ID name on my phone but the stereo still shows the old one. I have also noticed that some names that I have deleted from my phonebook still appear in the list in the car.
My phone also won't connect the bluetooth 100% each time I drive my car. Its inconsistant and I sometimes have to restart the phone bluetooth and find active device again to reconnect before it works.

Press the phone button, once up press menu, use the up down arrows on unit to fine 'de-bond' phone and then pick which one you want to de-bond. I also do it through here to bond my phone, as my partner's phone is the number 1 phone and mine is the number 2 phone.

Thanks Dusty. I have been thinking about doing this for ages but too lazy to look it up.
Cheers!

It can be a bit tricky though.
The problem is if you've got a phone already bonded i.e. phone 2 that you don't use, and your new one is phone 3, you need to de-bond them both, and then re-bond the one you use again otherwise you have phone 1, and phone 3, but no phone 2. Not really too much of a drama, but got on my goat, so I de-bonded my phone and re-bonded it to be phone 2.
