Yeah I know, I'm crazy for wanting to keep it. But I like the fact when I put my toolbox in the boot the car actually sits right.
Anyway, if I were to put superlows in, is there any way to set the SLS up so it'll sit right? Or will the shocks just get flogged out anyway? |

would there be any way to get some soft lowered springs
as far as i am aware, the system needs soft as springs to work., i investigated mucking around with the sls, was too much effort lol. was going to install a trim-pot to set the height etc |

I think it would work. Try it in the rears first see what happens. You'll need to adjust the height sensor to stop it belting air into the shockers. Theres sewwt f all adjustment in the height sensor you might have to crack out cable ties

lol I was planning to keep the NC legit! I even felt bad hacking up the globe holders for the sidies so I could pop the AU ones one.

cut the shock mounts inside the car and raise them say 40mm (or the ammount that the springs drop the height). Then you can run stock SLS shocks with SL's and retain the SLS.

Dellboy knows how to, he has superlow height at the rear and its still stocko springs shockers or somthin.....
EDIT: EA2BA or whatever he calls himself now

I cut down the length of the little bar that sets the height of the rear shocks, they are still in good condition the SLS still works 100%, very happy with it, I have LOWS in the front and the reart set to match.

EA2BA, are you talking about the arm that links to the ECU? I know these had a very tight tolerance requirement to get the vehicle's height right, so a small change here would probably get you to where you want..

one of the older guys i once worked with lowered his sls falcon and used modified replacement shocks and adjusted the linkages to suit, lowered the rear about 35mm, and he also had the shocks valved slightly different so you didnt get that sea sick feeling in the back!
