Hi guys just doin my pads and i cant for the life of me get the piston to go in any hints would be appreciated because at the moment my car is sitting on a jack goin nowhere and thats no good!!!!!!!

Do you mean the front or rear?? If its the rear you will have to take the hand brake lever off and wind the piston back. The front ones will just push back. I use a G clamp for this.

Yeah its the front ive tried clamping and hitting (with a block of wood) but i think i may have to put the old ones back in and go get a better clamp

There is a ratchet tool around that makes the rears real easy.... but not much good if the car is in the air.  G-clamp works best on the fronts, use an old brake pad to make sure the piston goes in straight. Take the cap off the booster too...... D  :

Oh ok i thought the rears would be the same as the fronts might have to have a sus how to do it exactly

hye guys sorry to hijack the thread, but do the EF-EL rear calipers have the same problem as the EA-ED, in that you need a special tool to wind them back?

Rymers, Nah they dont... I went and bought the tool ages ago, only to find out they just push in and not wind in lol
