Just wanted to know where every ones thought's were on the fight.
I think if he has taken a dive he should be banned from the sport for a period of time. Not a good boxing match at all! |

Not much Green can do if someone takes a dive and bails out. Dont understand why a professional sportsman would do something like that. Will now be remembered as a joke.

I've never seen anything so bad in boxing. That has to be the worst dive I have ever seen. That punch hardly connected. VERY POOR

Yeah pretty weak for Briggs to go down so early on a punch that was half hearted at best by Green. Must of been a stray piece of string off Greens glove that whipped him a bit hard.
Lesnar is a man mountain, maybe not a boxer but you'de want to know how to block those fists of his, if they connected you'de be in strife. Went to the club to watch it, waited for ages, only to have that happen! Oh well, had a few beers with mates, can't complain.
I do feel for the people who paid to watch it on foxtel or moreso for those that bought tickets!

I remember hearing Briggs mouthing off a few weeks ago, about how Danny Green has never fought a real fighter and all his opponents were past it.
Well he still hasn't... apparently.

Green was genuinely upset for the all fans that witnessed that poor excuse for a count out, I have lost a lot of respect for Briggs as he turned up out of shape which showed a lack of respect for his opponent Green and the sport of boxing in general!

Maybe it's just me but the way Green did his spiel after the fight that sounded put on as well. Hopefully not, or boxing will be as crap and rehearsed as WWE wrestling

has reminants of the sonny listen "phantom punch" pathetic jerks have been taking dives for decades and will continue to do so, and here i was thinking the sonny bill williams fight was a joke, at least that one went for 2 min..
As for green v lestner if it was possible and did happen, they would have to do it as a boxing match, there is no way green could handle that man mountain in a wrestling match and ground and pound style fight, but standing and boxing with him green may have what it takes to be competative as lestner is not much of a boxer and technicly green has the advantage but get hit by one of those sledge hammers and green in a world of hurt. I'm sure when green made the statment he would have been talking a boxing match not a MMA match because he'd get killed.. |

Green is more likely to fight Elvis than Lesnar. What a seriously stupid thing to say. As if Lesnar would fight a 30kg lighter nobody in a "standing only" fight. Just do us a favour and fight a decent professional boxer.
