: Hi all. My exhaust is stuffed from the cat back, on my ED Falcon. Is there any benefit throwing on an 2 1'2 inch exhaust if you dont want to change the cat from the standard one?

You shouldn't have to change the cat, unless it is stuffed as well. Ford release there cars with a 7ltr capacity cat (pity the don't release the motor too). But by all means change it from the cat back, I did mine on friday with a 2 1/2 inch red back exhaust and it sounds awesome.

Yeah it has the muffler (center) and the resinator (end muffler) and thats all. Sounds tuff. Has a good rumble at idle, and really barks between 2000 to 3000 rpm. I went to Werribee Exhausts to get it done. He is a good bloke I would recomend him to anyone. Paid $350 fully installed. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for too.

Hi guys I ended up getting a 2 1/2 inch system from the cat back with a lukey sports muffler then straight out from there. No resignator. Sounds excellent!
