The point is it wasn't made by Chev, it's an Opel.

Sorry to sound like a buzzkill but in Latin America, they sell the Barina (Corsa) as a Chevrolet. In fact they still sell that model as the "Chevrolet Chevy." The Corsa D (the one we didn't get) is called the Viva in Brazil. Infinitely better than the POS Vivas we have past encountered.

So GM uses different brands in different countries and Ford doesnt.

yeah sure put a chev badge on something like an SS ute, it does look pretty good, but taking off the holden badge and putting a chev one on a barina?

you could still see the plastic circle where the holden badge used to be.

Sort of saying I'll put a Volvo badge on my Focus.. Doesn't really work, even though the Focus has more in common with Volvo than the Opel Corsa does with any Chev.

Chev engined Commos with a bow-tie I like. They are sold as Chevs in Arab countries so it somewhat belongs

Exactly right! I'm pretty sure our Holden Monaro's are Pontiac's in America too (not Chevrolet) - correct me if I'm wrong? Yet there seems to be one in three Monaro's running around with Chevrolet badges on!

They were also sold as Chevrolets in the Middle East. Lumina S Coupe and Lumina SS Coupe from Memory.

All Daewoo cars/dealers in the UK were renamed Chevrolets a few years back. It's odd to drive past a Chevy dealer and see these sorts of cars.

: There was a commy ute getting around here with chev badges on it, I for one thought it was a dumb move, this isn't the USA and holdens are not chevys.
