just wondering if you guys have any suggestions as to why a head gasket would go after 20000kms since it was last done? worped head? job not done right the first time? bolt brocken? etc
Mind yu this is a car that does approx 400km a month. and 110k on the clock Can any on tell me what is the real cause for a head going? |

block not cleaned propery.
head not skimmed before being put back on. head bolts not replaced. head bolts not torqued correctly. unlucky and a dodgy gasket. this time get head skimmed, check block is square and clean 100%, use NEW au headbolts, and AU head gasket, torque per au specs.

possibly is the case, but could just be a bad head gasket it does happen.
i would be willing to bet they did not get the head skimmed and thats why it went again.
