Imo the skyline would be faster but take them to a track.

Depends how much boooooost is running in them bro.
:

it comes down to mods to the vehicles.

My choice out of the 2 would be the MR2 ... yeah it's a tad heavy in the rear ... and very skatey in the wet .... but the Toyota motor is a strong one ... and much better built vehicle.

There's probably bugger all in it though.

My first car was an R32 GTS-T M Spec, absolutely loved it.

I'd say the R32, but like everyone else has said, drag and track will settle it.

Go to the track and race them FFS,then bring the winner to E/C and get owned by a V8 in a 35 year old car...

So the Skylines a 16 year old 2 litre? My money would be on the '98 MR2 turbo.

Nothin to do with it being a ford forum.
But how are you spose to pick the winner between 2 second hand cars, maybe modded or not, its a silly question that only a run down a drag strip will settle.
Too much internet racing.......

Would have thought the 8 year newer MR2 would be lighter and faster.

What is "da"? :P

The stock 2L skylines only pull a high 15/low16, the mr2 turbo is good for a high 13/low 14. There you go.
