Talking Wanted Ford 1972 gear linkage cable for an 4cyl auto

Hi guys and girls I was after a gear linkage cable for a 1972 ford capri auto and if anyone has one lying around that they don’t want anymore and it’s no seized or knows someone that would sell it that would be much appreciated as mine is seized and broken, I am located in western Sydney and can travel to pick up, I have attached my broken one for a reference and

Hey bud, whats the length between these points on the cable:



Basically the length from where it mounts on a bracket to where it goes to the end of the threaded rod going into the fittings on the end.

You may be able to use a hydraulic valve control cable if you can mcgyver something up, this will be the cheapest option:

This place above has a handy little guide on choosing hydraulic valve control cables.

Otherwise cable manufacturers such as Flexible Drive above or Control Connections could manufacture from sample as a custom job reusing parts from your busted sample there - but $$$.

Flexidrive industries will make you a new one if they don't have one in stock , just take your old one in or if you cant then measure it and give them the specs
