Default XR Bonnet Protector

I purchased a bonnet protector off fleabay. Part no. BA16000AA. Was told it would fit an AUII XR bonnet no worries. Received it today and it doesn't look like it'll fit. I tried the part database here and came up with ER16000A. Am I not trying hard enough to fit it or are they a different size? Have I been duped?

Thanks,

Ian

Yeah they're sorting it out as I type. The first one was lost by TNT and in the confusion the second one sent out was a BA protector when I'd asked for an AU XR. AUIIPURSUIT they have a heap of protectors for AU XRs if you're after one. Just make it clear to them what one you want!

Thanks guys.

Ian

Zane from Southside Ford in the Forum Sponsor area also stocks them. Found this out too late.

Cheers.

AU XR's use the low series bonnet and thus need the low series bonnet protector,
Personally i wouldn't put a black one on a car that isn't black or have a Carbon Fibre bonnet! It would only bring attention to itself. Perhaps buy a clear one and spray it the colour of you ride, ive seen it done many times before and you have to look twice to notice it.
