they can and do get stolen......panels as well......there was a spate just a bit further north of us and another in Port Lincoln where the whole systems were removed by persons unknown and sold onto the black market at a much reduced cost
the only thing to be done, and it is a small thing, is to look into non reversible screws or fastenings that, once in place, break off so that they cannot be undone
if you are in an area of high risk, wherever that may be

I've had a few comments from people saying that I must be rich to be able to afford the solar.
My answer was that I'd worked out my power usage & paid for the next 20 years up front.

rather pay for solar than to continue paying overseas investors.....a lot of folks will actually blame you for power rises
I figure just let them think what they will as the bills continue to rise

hard to change a mind when it is set in one direction......I've changed a heap and still changing more but there is a lot of "misinformation" out there put in place by major corporations and government bodies
