Can not say I've ever seen these painted in that livery before and was surprised it was sitting over on the other platform. Speaking of platforms.
That day the north bound XPT was over 1 hour late and once you pass Wagga, the track reverts back to single track.
(n.b on Wagga station) there is always a mass of confusion for all the passenger boarding there who don't know their north from their south, people continually board the wrong train heading in the wrong direction.
The XPT's usually pass on a loop just south of Junee.
Funny both reached "The Rock" at the same time with both doing a goofy forward and reverse move onto the grain silo track so each access the station there.
