Hi everyone
I'm new here, I have an au2 XR6. I have been doing it up and recently put a hi stall in it. After refitment and refilling the gearbox makes a grinding sound when I try to put it in park. It didn't do it for the first 7 litres or so, having the started the car a few times to fill the stall and lines but when I put the final 2 litres in it started. I didn't pull the box apart except for a new pan filter and gasket and the box was Bullet proof before fitting the stall. I did notice on reinstall that at some point I have tagged the front oil line causing it to kink almost completely closed. Could this be the cause of the noise or have I done something wrong when fitting the stall. This is my first go at anything to do with an auto box. Any help greatly appreciated |

Hi Mate, this part of the forum is pretty quiet. You'd be better posting your question in the AU-BA page.
