Hi all,
I am trying to get a verification letter for my new purchased AU III XR8 UTE, have sent an email a few times to the foacust1@ford.com email and they keep saying they cant help, They did send me one for my AU II XR6 ute back in 2019 when I bought that one, Have they stopped doing this or is there another updated email address I could try ? Just interested in build numbers and specs etc Many thanks in advance for any help Cheers |

They stopped doing them a few years ago, they don't give out any verification letters anymore.

Probably too busy selling overweight dual cab pickups to remember they once sold other products.

Weren't all the paper files and microfiche files sent back to Detroit, as it was considered to difficult and costly to digitise Australian records?

Make your own up, see if they come out of the shadows to correct any details.
It baffles me that they can’t just put a heavy price on them and still supply. |

However apparently they're all sitting in a warehouse rotting away as neither Ford or the government have the resources to archive it.

Yes, I get those too. They just want to keep their mailing list up-to-date so they can tell you when the next service is due or invite you to test drive the latest Ranger.

1. I bought the car, used, from a Honda dealer, post warranty period, so how would they know I was the owner. 2. I have never received one of these emails before and I have owned it for 7 years now. 3. While the VIN number was correct, they got the year of manufacture wrong. You would think Ford would know when they built it. 4. They refer to it as a Falcon UTE (with capitals). It was never referred to like that in Ford documentation before. On the other hand, it does not require you to click on a link if you still own it. Strange. |

Both my Fords are on the Ford account in 'dashboard' with the wrong year attached. One of these I bought only a week ago.
