What have they done to the 1/4 panels?

Definitely photo shopped, I have had the displeasure of changing a motor in one of these years ago

Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

I do and don’t regret selling my D, likely would never have had time to restore it nicely but was one of those cars I’d aspired to own. Never would have butchered it though.

The horse traders will be all over that. Slough UK built (so factory RHD) not 1945, maybe 1954. Light 15 model, no hydraulic suspension. The bare front rails (“tusks”) are similar when stripped down, to a Dee - you can see the lineage.

I’ve been reminded by this, of what I no longer have to deal with - the sniping, misinformation, self-appointed experts. Like the classic Falcon scene’s crap side.
