Default Radio code not working

Hi,

I had to disconnect the battery on our 2007 LT CL. I've put in the code that was in the manual but it doesn't seem to be working. I got timed out and have to wait 30 minutes with the key in the ignition. So annoying!

I'm inputting the code as the manual states ie pushing 1 until I get to the number for the code then 2 until I get the number for the code etc

Any help is appreciated.

Might be a good idea to pull the radio out and check the code on top of the unit is the one you're entering. I have a LV MkII with the Sony head, mine is very simple, four Torx screws and she's out.

Worst case scenario is that you've got a replacement manual with someone else's code.

you need special tools to remove the LTs radio They are thing metal strips that push up a locking pins on each side of the radio

Called Ford and the radio code in the manual was inverted. Two digits were the wrong way around!
