I'd hate to know the cost of such a project! It's certainly original and should make a fine looking ute. E39 M5: perfection!

should have pics of a nice ED Wagon converted into a ute within a couple of days........my bro took some pics of it when we dropped him off at the airport....

amazing absolutley amazing what a bit of spare folding and an idea can spawn if i had the spare folding i'd get that bloke to build me a convertible typhoon

Sorry no pics but I saw a AU (I think) station wagon with a tray on the back of it a la crew man in Rosebud just before Xmas.

Jet black and looked neat.

Anyone know it?

Yup, started out as an AU XR8 sedan and had a tray whacked on it, Tornado posted some pics up aaaaaages ago.

There's also an Acid Rush one around that was done by Hillier Bros.

Not a chance. HSV LS2 stomps all over E39 M5. But then again, one was released in 2005... the other in 2000.
