Default My New E-Series

Well as my old EL XR6 has been seen up for auction thought I most post some details and pics of my new ride that i picked up on Thursday.
Its a 94 EF XR8 major details:
-200kw AU S2 engine conversion
-Rebuilt and strengthened auto with stage 2 shift kit and 2,500rpm stall converter
-Rebuilt lsd with 4.11 diff gears
-Pacemaker extractors, twin 2.5" Hi-Flo cats into single 3" exhaust
-lowered on King Ultra's with pedders sports ryder shocks
-Resprayed in Monza Red with Clear coat, De-badged
-15" or 16" NL Concored rims with Kumho Tyres
-Pioneer MP3 CD player, 6" splits up Front and 6" at the rear running off 500Watt amp
-Couple of Autometer gauges
-Personalised plates: SLO XR8

Car is in immaculate condition and goes alot quicker than the XR6 (obviously).
Pics are pretty poor as took most of them at night and lighting was poor.

There's heaps of other stuff i forget about like custom radiator and tranny cooler, the previous owner had 347 stroker in it so all the work was done to it and he blew the motor hence the AU conversion and the selling of it!

Sundeep (Mr. Dose) was going to buy this car a few weeks ago. The dealer stuffed him around. He knows a fair bit about the car after speaking to the previous owner and stuff as well if you want more info PM me.

Yeah the dealer didnt want to negotiate on price and said they had a few offers close to the sale price that were knocked back.

I e-mailed the previous owner to make sure everything was genuine and there were no hidden probs or anything and I was happy with his response so had no issues in paying what the dealer wanted for the car!

Just out of curiousity, did he say what was involved in fitting the AU2 motor?

Nothing, the motor just got dropped in by a mechanic from the receipts we saw when we checked it out. A couple of the sensors didn't line up with the new stuff so they've been duct taped on to the intake pipe but we didn't have a good look at them.

You forgot to mention that the towbar cap has been deleted and the front guards pumped. Definitely a sexy car, the dealer was a dimwit though.

It was traded in for peanuts..

I cant remember everything thats been done to it, I typed it going from memory and forgot alot of things, yeah the conversion has just been done using the EF ECU and a dizzy set up and as needforspeed says sensors have been placed on the intake. Doing my tax tomorrow so im gonna take it down to G&D or somewhere this week just to go over it and give it a dyno run to check power/AFR's. Just want to keep it as a nice cruiser for the moment til i get out into full-time work at the end of the year, then the power hunt will be on!

The dealer had to take the springs and rear shocks out to raise the car for the RWC, made sure they chucked it all in the boot and put it all back in the next day. It is deceivingly low, with the stock size wheels its really low particularly when you get into it it feels like your sitting on the ground! Any lower and it will be a cop magnet, having enough trouble getting over speed bumps as it is!
