Who ever moved this knows the answer. An explanation would be good, NOT a duck shove

Whoever moved it here would have been a moderator, not administration.
They would have moved it here because its the correct area for your question.
Be patient.

Working fine for me.

Are you talking about the entire forum or just a particular one?

The one I guess this thread was originally moved from?

I use different operating systems from different locations and it's fine. It may have something to do with the flash stuff but that should only make a difference the first time you load it. Perhaps flush the browser cache .. dunno if it'll help that much but it can't hurt.

I have a problem with opening 5 or more pages of this forum at a time, Im on ADSL and don't experience it on any other sites, but I tried turning Javascript off and it isn't quite so bad, but then you have to turn it back on again for other sites.

Listen here

The duck shoe was because I did not know the answer, however I did know that Russell would view this section on a regular basis and try to assist you.

Here is the duck shove though, I hate people with your attitude with a passion, so the next duck shoe will be a get lost...

How simple is that

IN answer to the question, the server load averages are about where they should be and since the recent RAM upgrade I've not seen anything approaching the levels of load that we once had.

For those who clear cache at the end of each session the initial page load will always be slowed by the reload of the flash banner but that is seconds, once only each session.

Some of the smaller ISPs utilise long routes to US hosted sites like this one and a simple check can be performed by running a trace route to the site. I'm on Optus and the usual total number of hops during the trace is 14 and the total average ping time 196 ms.

Cheers
Russ
