Default Hatch lid strut fails.

One of the struts that hold the hatch lid open has failed and begun leaking fluid. It happened yesterday when it was about 37-38 degrees outside (Melb). Gonna be replaced under warranty. Anyone had this problem yet?

August 2005 build LS Focus Zetec

Zero problems with my '03 LR that's now got 60k's on the clock. Mind you I only use it twice a day, if that.
