Can I ask wy you didn't keep the serpantine belt setup ?
Did you need the scoop for it to fit, or is it for looks ??
I actually have the scoop to get a lot of hot air out of the engine bay quickly. With the AU thermos pumping it doesnt over heat even when doing a slow rock crawl. It works better then I expected when I did it.
We got rid of the serpentine setup so all the pumps , hoses etc are all over the counter Maverick/Patrol ones. I have had a few customs setups on the past and its always the customised bits that die in the middle of nowhere. When I say custom I mean like lines from a Holden steer pump to a Toyota box etc.
All the brackets on mine are custom made but all the parts that can fail are straight factory items. The plan in the future is to head to Birdsville and across the centre and I wanted a setup that if something fails I can just have parts sent in and be bolted straight on while Im drinking beer at a pub somewhere!

Nice setup though. Where do you have the MAF ? What air filter box do you have ? What did you do for a bellhousing ?

Nah no trouble ever. The scoop went on when the conversion was first done.
I think the issues I had with overheating in my old V8 4 runner were fresh in my mind then.
Yeah I just used the petrol radiator as it was in the car , nearly new and worked. I got to run a fairly generic type of hose setup then too.
