need to change my oxy sensor guys and i'm wondering if the ebay specials will do..

I'm currently running one with my setup........no issues at all. They are genuine Ford items so you really don't have much to worry about.
I believe GK also runs them without complaint.... Go for it!  :

i bought one a while ago of ebay, when i checked the electrical connection against mine one of the locating lugs was different, , i rang the guy to see if it was the right sensor he informed me it was off a ford from the states , same sensore slightly different shaped connector, he said i could exchange it for the correct one no probs , or shave the one of the lugs off , i took one of the guide/lugs off , it works fine.

did everyone notice better fuel economy after they changed to the new one..?
did you all reset the ecu..?

I still havent reset the ECU after putting in the extractors, hiflow cat, exhaust and new o2 sensor...might get around to it one day...fuel economy is about the same, but the car goes a bit harder now
 Would be interesting to see if the ecu reset makes much difference, especially since I've had all the new stuff on now for about 6500kms...

I got an eBay one and it turned out to be a standard Ford part, still in the factory packing and about 1/3 the price. Same with the eBay-sourced coil pack. Must admit neither made any difference to the car's running, but it was fine anyway; just changed the plugs, coils, leads and O2 at 90,000km as I figured they were getting on in years rather than km.

I've installed a new one today and have reset the ECU. Will comment on how it behaves after another 100 kms or so.
Hoping for a miracle on my dwindling fuel economy but I don't expect much by the sounds of it.

After having just finished a tank yesterday, I can report that I got 360 kms from it. I also towed 5 heavy trailer loads of furniture and appliances 5 kms (and the trailer 5 kms back again) with this tank of fuel.
So I wonder how it'll be without the towing sessions, can only be better. I trained the ECU on 95 E10 and then filled up with 98. Not sure if that was good or not, but I'm not getting any pinging on 95 anymore. 360 kms with 5 trailer loads is certainly better than the 310 kms I got from a tank before that and my average L/100 display has dropped from around 17 to 14s and 15s. So I think it's paid off in this experience.
