From my friends in the UK.
Also found out for anybody who owns an ST built after 1st january 2009, when the RS started being produced.. the centre and rear parts of the floorpan are identical to the RS and the front part of the floorpan is standard accross the range pretty much. So basically if you own an ST built after january 2009, your chassis is the same as the RS pretty much probably done to save on manufacturing costs, and because the RS has been tweaked a post jan 1st ST should handle slightly better than a pre 2009 1...as ford probably made it a bit stiffer.

Remember the XR5 is 4 door whereas the RS is 2 door, you can only get the 4 door here but you can get the 2 and 4 door ST in the UK.
Still might be the case though
