Default Some more goodies and progress pics..

Bout time i made some more progress updates.

Picked up my latest round of HPC coated parts, which include the supercharger compressor housing, my GRA throttle body and my rocker cover. I also ordered a custom exedy cushion clutch rated at 450hp which arrived on the same day.

Pics...

Also over the last week or two, i've been replacing the seals on the engine such as the sump and timing case, replaced all the timing guides, and gave the engine a new coat of black paint. Chucked the engine in a few days ago aswell and started slowly bolting things back together. Also gave my lower cooler piping a coat of chrome paint, which came out a very very close match to the HPC coating used on the rest of the piping.

Pics...

The transmission will be in very shortly, and then the engine bay will slowly start to shape up. Can't wait to see how it's gunna look like...

Steve, have you got a photo of your intake manifold? Do they do all the prep work as well? How long is the turnaround time?

What do you mean by prep work?? They usually ask you to take it apart before you send anything over, but that's as far as it goes. If you want a super fine finish, then you would need to get the manifold polished first, as they won't be getting rid of any casting marks for ya, it will be coated as is... It takes them about a week to get it back to ya.

Here's a pic of the rocker cover and intake dummied into place...
