Default Put 17" on 2002 LX

Recently put 17" DTM rims on my 2002 LX, having trouble with speedo dropping out...any ideas?

There is a speed sensor (called vehicle speed sensor) located above the front drivers side half shaft (about the middle of the car) on the diff /transmission housing. They can give problems on early focus models. Unlikely to be connected to the new rims.
