Default auto window open/close

I've read on another forum that the euro LT Focus's had the auto window open/close function via the remote
apparently some guys in Australia have had this option enabled on there cars at the dealers
has anyone else had this done or know anything about it??

cheers

If you have it enabled all windows go down if you hold down the open button on the remote for about 5 seconds. the reverse is true for the lock button on the remote.

it is called global closing - set by ford changing parameters to suit - requires correct door modules already fitted or changed to -seems strange if it is not working IF it was already fitted to your vehicle - talk to Ford and get them to check if it was fitted already ...................
as mentioned operates by holding remote button on for extended time .............

Requires the car to have both front and rear windows. Many Euro Focus's have only fronts, no no global open/close.

Not sure about the Focus but on other makes, if your limiter switches for the windows are out of calibration it won't work. From the driver side, put all the windows up then hold the button up for about 5 secs.
