Talking WA - Northam around the houses this weekend

For those living in WA, there is an around the houses historic racing event happening this weekend in Northam. Saturday is a hillclimb and go-to-whoa and Sunday is the racing. Not sure how many Falcons are going to be there, but I think there is one XW/Y GT Falcon (a very fast car too) entered on Sunday. There will be Mk1 Escorts and Cortinas, a couple of Mk2 Tinas and a few MK2 RS2000s, including mine. It is my first around the houses event, so I dont know what to expect. I just dont fancy bumping into a concrete barrier :

Lots of other older cars will be racing as well. Some of the car clubs are also doing static displays (I dont know who), so could be worth going out for a look.

i am pretty sure the action will need to start early as we have qualifying and then some racing. at a guess (i honestly have no idea what time it all kicks off) 10am on sunday. last year there were some delays with getting the concrete barriers in place, but i would imagine they might have that sorted out this time around. the hillclimb is supposed to start about 8ish i think. sadly, this event hasnt been greatly publicised, something the club needs to address. hope to see some of you out there.

Ill have a chat to some of the boys and girls and see who wants to go. Might come have a look if everyones free.

I was kicking myself that I missed Targa WA so this should be a good thing to see.

Cheers for the info mate.
