Hello all
I have an AUII wagon, 7 seater. With the two extra seats can I now install a cargo barrier? Cheers Blake |

no. It is illegal to have a cargo barrier installed if there are seats behind it. Effectively you would create a deathtrap as anyone in those seats (kids) would not be able to get out of the car. The cage stops them using the rear doors and the tailgate cannot be opened from the inside.
Even if you never use the seats they "exist" and therefore make it illegal to install the barrier until they are removed.

Thank you both very much for your comments. In fact, we would only have used the cargo barrier for the odd times when transporting the dog. (No passengers would be using the extra rear seats) regards and thanks again Blake |
