I'm just wondering what anyone thinks about it, would it go harder than XR8's and is it a good idea to get an EX cop car, also how good were the cop suspension, he's asking $5500 for it |

ex cop cars are a bad idea unless your planning on spending more money on the thing.

Dont know about the ex cop car thing but ive got an ef gli v8 myself. They are pretty rare. Supposedly there was only about 600 ever made. Dont know if that includes cop specials though.

I'm not sure how true it is, but I've heard a few times that Cop Cars are flogged to within an inch of their life.

Depends on whether you want it or not?, might be best to get it tested before you by it. |

And it doesn't stop at cop cars either. Fleet cars, company vehicles, etc etc. are all victims of regular, severe, cold engine floggings! |

lol company cars rule. We just got rid of a ba company car........so many good memories. Also we had a manual dodge neon, it was pretty quick car.
Also the things is with company cars alot of people take out parts (eg. diffs, tyres and in some cases whole transmissions) and replace them with crappy 2nd hand parts. I knew a few ppl who did this, so just be careful when buying company cars from auctions. |

PS: They are not chipped, however are not a standard ECU (ECU actually identifies itself as POLICE as well -- came on Scantool at BPT)
Suspension had tickford style... Bit lower, stiffer... Etc... |
