I used to drive this car a few years back! It was made by a company in Dandenong who used to do the 8 cyl into Transit van conversion - Ambulance. The ride height is that way due to engineering cert requirements - seats 10 in the back. If you get to have a look up close, the front passenger seat is removed, with a bucket type seat sitting a little back into the front area for an extra seat in the back and a cockpit type arrangement is built in around the driver.
As Ea6cyl said, it is a Fairlane stretched 5ft with the ltd grill and XR headlights and XR front bar... Rear interior is great, with bar painted in black 2 pac, with blue neon in the front edges. On the near side of the car, another door was put in directly behind the front passenger door for better access to the rear. Car drove great, with the 6 having plenty of go with a full load on board. A column shift was also put in, to eliminate the centre console and accomodate a switch bank for various items in the back - nothing worse than a car load of school formal kids switching everything on and off! Blue neon under the car looked great when turning up to a gig to pick up at night, coupled with the courtesy lights on the side
The same guy also had one made in adelaide which was midnight blue, with that one being a little ordinary compared to the white one, with non of the tricky mods and only seating nine in the back.

it would look far better if they JUST had a full XR front......rather than the butchered XR / LTD front
