How many cars have you bought and sold?

Its ~$28 + $40 per $1000 listed as the sale price on the transfer slip.

Eg: Sell a car for $5000, the transfer fee would be $28 + $200 ($40 x 5)

Total: $228.

Using the above link... $6,000.00 as an example, would be...

$29.60 Transfer Fee
$240.00 Motor Vehicle Duty

$269.60 In total.

I didn't even use the link.. I just know what the costs are.

My transfer slips here must have an outdated transfer fee, as they chang it often.

I paid $812 today to have mine transfered to VIC rego in my name with 12 months rego. So about $260 in fee's on a car I paid $5500 for. That's not including getting the RWC, which i'm sure you'll need ?
