Default Removing Half Shafts, Any tricks?

I had some dramas last night with my XR8, I happened to snap my Passengers side Half Shaft right at the hub. Is there any tricks to getting what is left out of the diff centre?

Just yank on it mate.
Its gonna be abit hard with nothing left on your end of it though. The extra weight of the hub/brake assembly generally helps.

I had a crowbar between the ABS Ring and the housing, snapped the ABS ring, Halfshaft hasn't budged. This is proving to be a stubborn bastard to get out.

If you cant get a good enough grip on it to give it a good yank, do as Blackers said, weld something onto it to give you like a "T-bar" to pull off.
That is IF you have access to a welder.

No access to a welder, and the CV has come out too, making it harder again. This is becoming bullsh*t, 2 days and I can't get the thing out.

A crowbar would just break the ring. Have you got the diff end out?

I'd be looking for another half shaft with a hub attached if I were you, that's what I did when I twisted mine.

Oh yeah.... This is what happens when you are without car for a long time. A big flat screwdriver did the trick for me.

Turns out they need a lot of force to pop the Circlip out. Crowbar on the CV housing and a 2kg hammer, Then they pop out. Got this done yesterday arvo, I was too tired to post an update on it. Slid the new halfshaft in and everything works wonders now.
