Offensive number plates

Now some people I know get worked up over offensive number plates they spot while driving around, I however do not and just have a laugh about various plates ive seen around. Has anyone seen a plate they had deemed offensive? and if so what was it?

I don't think I've seen any that are offensive, rather I see quite a few that make me laugh.

Maybe a relo because I also so a torry with CRY351 many yrs ago. Thats what gave me the idea for my plates almost 10 yrs ago now.

I seen a set of standard issued plates that had "RA - 51 - ST", pretty sure those were the numbers in the middle, either way it was able to be interpreted into RACIST or RAPIST.

I worked with a guy who managed to get ANIGAV.

He said it looked great in the mirror. I actually had a photo of him and the plates but can't find it.

a mate of mine got PLZB16 had it for a couple of months then got a letter saying the plates were offensive and If had to return them. They say please be 16, had it on a bucket of crap VL he had as a daily

8LOWM3 hs been getting around darwin for years. I don't find it offensive,, but i'll tell you what-all these bible stickers are getting a bit much.

I don't know of too many offiencive plates, there are a lot of good personalised ones around. i won't be mentioning mine as I haven't booked them yet.

I knew a man named Bob, a member of a suburban Melbourne golf club I used to work at. Back in the day when the VERY first pale blue personalised plates were issued in Victoria he managed to have the word NIGGER issued (sorry if the swear filter blanks it out, it's the common offensive N word for afro-americans).

I don't know how or why they gave them to him, but apparently he kept them on his car until 1992 when he was ordered to surrender them or at least take them off the registered vehicle. He kicked up a fuss and as compensation he got VIP-111 and VIP-222 issued for free for he and his wife.

He proudly displays the banned plates in his bar room, framed with receipt of purchase and the final 1992 registration sticker from the car.

Begs the question, if the cops hadn't have put a stop to it, perhaps an offended member of the public may have??

EDIT: I should add that Bob didn't order them to stir the pot, it was his genuine nik-name in the 70's and 80's due to his tendency to work almost around the clock, weekends etc.. Bob is now very wealthy

Either the owner has upgraded or sold the plates to someone else because they used to be on a VX Clubby.
