I have read so far this, mk1 ba's have the t5 as do all au's mk2 xr6t's have the t56 (6spd) do the later ba's have the t5 or the t56? Off to wikipedia->

It'll fit...



... but, you probably won't have a speedo unless you get a T5 from an eGas.

Really bummer as he will let it me pull for 400, cant make the speedo work? I take it the sensor/cog is different?

Rear extension housing doesn't have the speedo slot in it. If you have an AU extension housing already, just swap it over.

Is it a simple swap? Bolt off, bolt on? Does the ba internals still have the spirals on the drive shaft to turn the speedo cog?
