Hi all
I have a BA XR6. I am doing up my engine bay with some chrome bling, painting, silicon hoses etc, but not sure about what to do with the under bonnet insulation. The original is starting to split and has oil stains and is looking very ratty. Anyone replaced their insulation pad with something "blingy" to match their engine bay bling? Thanks

No.
What about stainless steel perforated sheeting glued to a closed cell foam/ rubber backing though? E: Or just dynamat or similar stuff like this for bonnets https://www.koolwrap.com.au/product/...tion-adhesive/ Honestly the thought has never crossed my mind before Last edited by oldel; 06-03-2021 at 12:59 AM. |
