I've seen this ST170 and met the owner a couple of times at various racetracks around the place in the past.

Agreed, well overpriced. I sold mine for $24K with a mere 24,000kms on it last month! Boy did that take a while to sell as well!

Good luck to the guy, but I doubt it's worth more than $18K with that mileage

Lincoln, exactly how long is "a while"? I'm concerned that if I leave it too long before advertising my ST170, then the XR5 will be here before I sell it... and that would cause me some serious stress, let me tell you.

Sorry for the late response. I posted a message on my ad on this forum when I sold it... took almost 6 months to finalise the sale to Bob. Bob is an enthusiast and knew what he wanted so I waited for him to sort his finances out. I had my car on a dealer's lot where they sell it for me. The best offer I had was $21K.

To be honest Stampy I hadn't even considered it. After what they offered me (which frankly, was nothing short of insulting - btw I got more than 4 k extra selling it privately) for my EF XR6 when I was buying the ST170, I didn't even ask the dealer what they would give me this time around....maybe I should though, coz I would definitely take 25k for it.
