Talking Falcon R Series......

I've never heard of this before...Was this factory from FORD? Or is it an aftermarket set up?

Don't know about that. What an AU needs is a good lowering to look half civizilised.

Dash doesnt look orginal. Given the model type, wheel changes, id say its either an ex-cop car, or a complete dodge.

There was never a factory built "R" series AU Falcon - period. Its either a dealer promotion to try and sell off the last of the Series 1's (very common) or he's full of it.

Nice Special Cloth Trim. All it has, is some stiching on it.

Dash is definately a Police Cluster.

Car is fitted with ABS. And it does have an extra button on the center pod.

Not a fan...

Wasn't there an R-pack? I'm picturing a black or dark red AUI forte with a colour-coded grille.

It was kind of like an S-pack, but without red piping or a red mould or whatever that red bit around the car is called.

There is one of these running around town here at the moment. All I can tell you is that it is just a Forte with a wing and a wheel package. No suspension changes, etc.

I would place a real good bet that it was a Dealer pack.

Wheels are AUII Fairlane sportsman with a Ghia centre cap fitted in place of the larger cap for Fairlane.
