Used to be a Green Series 3 220 which was for sale brand new with factory K's on it. The car was still for sale by the time the BA hit Mk2. Haven't seen it for a while. I guess the reason it didn't sell was the price. Still at new car price.

It's called (brand new instrument cluster) $460 from Ford Australia. I bet if you got the VIN number and checked with Ford it's probably had all sorts of services above 2000km been done on it. I note that the add doesn't have log books.

No that car has been sitting in that car yard since mid 2002. I drive pass it on my way to from work. It sits in a yard full of HSV's & V8 Commodores as the car yard is call Parkside HSV. The price is slowly droping but is still high as it is only a basic XR8.

I saw that one, loved it. The only thing I wish I had from it though is the wheels, otherwise it's almost exactly the same as mine, although mine is an auto.

so does that mean that my car has XR8 seats in it then? or is there no such thing unless optioned with leather?

edit: just had a quick surf and found that the stich pattern is slightly different in the futura than in the XR, but the colour is the same.

You answer your own question. It's hard to tell the differents from those photos.

i think your right, thanks for that. i havent seen the inside of many AU XR machines and i just assumed they would have a sportier style interior, but i guess thats what the options are for. at least i know that if i ever get around to getting a momo xr option steering wheel, it will match my interior colour! :P
