Default tribute to my mate...........

well.....this morning started out like every other morning...that is untill i went outside to warm up the car...

found my cat, Harley, laying dead on the path....no idea what happened to him.. he wasnt old or anything so yeah......needless to say today hasnt overly been the best day of my life...

he was the best pet... always followed me around whenever i was outside...."helped" me when i worked on the car or whatever i was doing....

gonna miss him heaps.

anyway, heres a pic of him kicking back on one of my seats.

Sorry about your loss. I'm a dog person myself but do know how hard it is when you lose a four legged mate. Take it easy.

Regards

Hey Wayne, sorry to hear about your cat! It's shocking loosing a pet, just like loosing a family member! But I think you should get another one, as much as it sucks loosing a pet, think of all the good times you had with it and how many good times you could have again.

Cheer up charlie!!!
Leah.

Wayne, all the best and at least he passed away peacefully ( I Hope). My cat is also like a dog who follows me everywhere. It will be strange tommorrow getting up and not hear the meowing or scratching at the door, demanding breakfast?

Sorry to hear Wayne. It's never a good feeling to walk outside to a dead pet. It reminds me of when I went with the family on holidays years ago. My uncle was looking after our Whippet. Obviously the poor dog was missing us though because on the day we came back, he ran out on the road and got hit by a car. On our way home, we were all looking forward to see her again, but to see her mangled remains on the side of the road was a very sad occasion. Hope you cheer up soon.

that's no good wayne, we lost one of our cats recently, he was 14 year old though so he had a good innings. It's very sad to lose a pet they become a part of the family. Except goldfish, flush them down the toilet. :P

Take it easy!

Sorry to hear that.
I think sometimes my cat runs household, we'd all be devastated if something happened to the little guy. I know what you mean by more dog then cat too mine always comes when we call him & loves following me around especially when I'm doing something with the cars he'll sit beside me & watch it all.

awww I'm sorry to hear about your cat passing. I'm more of a cat person than dog so I know what you mean when you say he was more like a dog than a cat. My cat went missing one day & I never saw him again, which broke my heart so my heart goes out to you, at least you got to say goodbye.

Sorry to read your loss.. It's always so hard when our pets die, we make them into far more than just pets... they become one of the family..

He was a gorgeous looking and had a slight mischievous look too I see (in that pic he reminds me of someone that is either about to tell something off or is warning that he isn't in a great mood lol) ..

Sorry to hear that mate, I really am. I'm a pet person, be it cat, dog, hampster, wallaby whatever. They grow a special bond. Your mate there relaxing on the seat reminds me of Nathan Buckley, and appropriately coloured too... I mean that as a compliment, I seriously do. I bet he was a strong, agile and talented cat. Hope you get another equally endowed with character as that one.

So sorry to hear that :( I only have one pet at the moment, (a five year old cat) and can understand how much of a loss it is when they go. I have heard a saying somewhere that you dont own cats, cats own you......and its so true! Chin up and hope you feel bit brighter soon.

I'm a cat lover, so is my mrs.. we have 3 cats! I know how you feel, it's terrible when a pet passes on, humans tend to get so attached to animals! You know the best cure ? Go buy another cat Better still check out the 'free to a good home' ads or go to an animal protection society. All the best.

I got my cat for my first birthday.

Shes 18 now and still as fit and active (and cheeky!) as she ever was.

God help me when she dies. I will be a mess. :(

My condolences mate. Its never a good thing to go for.
