Interesting. So it is actually possible to combine an LTD grille with an XR front. All the same, for the amount of work it would have required, why did they bother? It just looks wrong

limo companies do crazy stuff to their cars.
Botch put a full NL front on their NA limo.
makes ppl like us go 'woah'

thats an Fairmont/Fairlane bonnet with XR front bar, no idea how hacked up the front bar is under neath.
there is no way the fairmont bonnet would fit straight over it.

If it's what I think it is, there's an EF wagon up here with an XR front, NL bonnet with grill, bodykit, absolutely covered in XR8 badges.

Looked horrible.

Would be a good 'What the...?' if Rove was an E-Series nut.

Does it look any better in the flesh?

I think limos are meant to have a bit of ride height because they are easier to bottom out than a standard sedan. For example, as you drive over the top of a hill, it wouldn't concern too many sedans, but it could cause some problems for the longer wheelbase of the limo.

airbags my friend... airbags.

ditto the ugly bit too... like the last piece of pizza and the last beer. you can take one or the other, but not both, thats just wrong.

*edit*

at least they used an EL bar, the EF one would have been worse, looking like it has had the light holes drilled, not moulded.
