I'm pretty sure it won't fit cos of the radiator support height.

You can't do it, they're a different length, and the shape of the bonnet at the windscreen end is still the same as an XD.

yep, you're stuck with EF/EL XR or EF GLi front :P

anything can be done with a welder and filler :P
would probably be easier to try and adapt a grill to the XH bonnet and put on fairmont headlights/bumper.

oh, the fairmont headlights won't follow the lines of the bonnet at the front, you'd need to modify that.
i've got pics of the differences in shapes if u want to see. (For the headlights)

I was led to believe that the XH actually was the first ute that got the different windscreen rake and so the fairmont stuff would fit.
Im sure it is different to the XG

the top end of the XH bonnet is still WAY different to the EF one.
if the fairmont bonnet was going to fit, ford would have used the normal GLi bonnet on the XH and not made a special bonnet for it.

Ok, i just vaguely remember at the time, somebody, somewhere, mentioning that the windscreen had been changed for the XH to closer resemble the sedan..
I stand corrected!

The only thing that was changed behind the subframe was the turret skin, the xd-g's had a square edged roof where the xh had rounded edges.

even that was only a screw on trim at the end of the roof.... i bought one but never fitted it to my XF ute.

as mentioned best bet with the bonnet would be to fit fairmont headlights and try and tack on the front edge of the bonnet where it butts up to the lights to your existing bonnet....

It wouldn't have fitted, because as I said XH's have a different turret skin,ie it has rounded edges on the roof skin itself.
