Default Tinted / blacked out headlights.

has anyone here tinted their headlights, im not sure if thats what its called but its where the non reflector part of the headlight is painted black.

anyone got pics of this on thei EA - ED im intrested to see what it looks like.

i have seen cars around with tinted tail lights. how is this done?

in regards to the headlights....do you have to pull them apart and spray something inside to make them darker?

depends what you are tinting, but you pull ithe unit apart and spray the shiny bits that ar'nt the reflectors

I did that to my wifes Skyline.

You simply remove the clips holding hte glass to the lamp body, then using a heat gun you soften the glue holding the glass to the body and remove the glass...then mask out the reflectors and paint the rest of the body.

hhhmmmmm....might have to give it a go on my fairmont.....I hope I don't stuff anything up as Fairmont headlights cost an arm and a leg to replace.....lol
