Default What brand's should i get?

It has come that time again for a quick little service and i am wondering what brands i should be after. I want the car to run smooth and idle steady (which it has started to not do).

I intend to get:
- Plugs
- Leads
- Fuel Filter
- Oil + Filter

I have been advised iridium spark plugs and SS Inductions "High Performance Ignition Leads" as this combination is ment to offer a slight increase in power and fuel economy yet still keeps the car running smooth.

Just wondering if the above is true or if i should go another option.

lol it may be easy to some.. On my old fairlane i used to use anything because the old girl didnt want to die so it didnt really matter, but now with the AU i intend to keep it for a while, so a little TLC wont go astray and i really didnt learn anything from the NA :

I heard that Splitfire are the best leads on the market?

Stiddy I heard that to. There is a video going around of Autotech a couple of years ago testing Splitfire's.

I would also go with the Purlator filters.

Easy decision

Denso irridium plugs ($12 each from ford, BA XR6 turbo plugs) ($6 from Toyota!)

Top Gun leads, (apparently QLD spiral leads are great & inexpensive, Pm bi6tim)

Ryco

Purolater Pureone (now Supercheap have them too) & Simota filter.

That is my 2 cents worth.

Splitfire
Magnecor
Purolator
Royal Purple & Pure One

Their are cheaper options but they're quality products.
