G'day ViGiLaNtE351. How strict is the 17 - 21 age requirement? & How close to Villawood does the successful applicant need to live?

I'm looking for a job in Automotive retail but I'm 28 & I live in Faulconbridge. ARB St Peters rang recently to say they liked my application but I live too far away for their liking.

I'll come down & apply tomorrow if the above two points are flexible.

Cheers. Sam.

Thanks heaps for the question

not flaming, just asking is all.....

as far as i'm concerned, saying "has to be between 17 and 21" is basically the the same as saying "and you have to be white" or "no females"...

maybe they just want to pay shiit wages ;)

Hey, ease up fellas. I asked a plain question & the answer was no. Why can't you just leave it at that.

A job was offered on here & every job has criteria. Now I won't be surprised of no one offers a job to us on here again after that effort.

Yes the position is aimed at Junior-ish ages as we have got 3 seniors. You have to draw the line somewhere. Like the other guy said, he asked the question, I gave an answer, and yes its a job, and a pretty good one as you see lots and lots of guys with great cars, you learn heaps, get the low-down on all the HOT spots etc. And yes females can and DO apply. The reason it is offered is not because of low wages, its to fill the position of "Junior" like all places have. For people to learn and get experience in whatever field they choose. Now with some of your attitudes out there, can you see why jobs go overseas????? STOP BEING LAZY...LOL..Support your country, work in it! Its not always shiit work!

Cheers

now if that was an offical offer i think this club will be very happy with that much people carrying the sticker around just to get discount price

I wish i had the opp at that age like you have given these guys.

At this stage people should be happy to even have a job.

All youngsters want theese day is money and a cushie office job but are not willing to work hard and learn to get to the top.

Mate i wish i fit your description and lived there, i would be at work two hours early every day like i am at my current job, and you would be begging me at the end of the day to go home and rest, and i would do it the over time without pay as i do now.

Awww here we go again, another know it all grandpa thats done everything, and of course it was 50x harder 'back in your day'. Of course people would prefer a good paying job, what kind of a statement is that??

If you're going to say you don't go to work for the money, I am going to call you a blatant liar. Simple as that.
