Yeah dude - use the search function up near where it will say "Welcome, da fish." in black at the top of the forum screen.

In this link are a list of the guys with turbo's http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...ighlight=turbo

When you find who has a turbo click on there "forum name" and look under "threads started" or "post" and you should be able to find pics of their cars and maybe even build up pictures

EXAMPLE click on DRHEMI on the left side of this post and lots of search functions will come up - do the same for people with turbos

It isn't even that much effort to find out.

Go to 'E-Series Technical' then have a look at the very first thread..... _

Lol...

Da Fish we will let you know where to start if you first let us know the budget you have, the tools and knowledge you have and the amount of power you require.

I'm sure that then even if it was a bit of a gunna post you can get some of the info you need for when of if you actually do start the project, and people wont give you crap

Im guessing this budget wont allow for the setup to be legal.

5k would nearly all be taken up by the roadworthy and engineering costs!

This would proberly be a good place to start...

http://www.snortperformance.com/ford...turbo_kits.htm

FourBarrel (sp?) is using one on his sleeper EF project, and from his thread in the project car section, he is very impressed with the snort system.

Prices seem quite reasonable to me

If your paying retail for a snort kit then $5000 will be cutting it close. Its $4000 for a stage 3 kit then another grand on top of that for a 3inch exhaust and custom induction setup. If you've got a decent 2.5 system you can live with that and save some money. There is probably another $500 for intercooler piping, clamps, hoses, and stuff.

You could probably do it cheaper by sourcing the bits yourself but the warranty and after sales support I got from snort are well worth it in my opinion.

All up my setup has cost me about $4000, but I got my stage 3 kit for $2500. This forum is a great source of knowledge. You won't have any probs fitting it yourself.
