Default Internet Service Providers

Seeing as a majority of the threads here are nothing more than boring, and the eseries section at the worst stage .. I feel that it is ok for me to ask that which ISP's you guys have and whats the best deal, trying to get a broadband connection, with unlimited downloads and need a fairly fast connection.
Ohh by the way i dont have the money yet, im just contemplating when i do have the money... JKZ. Nah seriously.

Thank you.

We're with AAPT and we pay $39.95/month and get 12GB of downloads and is then shaped to 64k. But atm, most people in QLD are getting unlimited downloads due to some kind of usage meter stuff up

I went with AAPT as well, the main selling point for me was NO CONTRACT, if i wanted to disconnect after a month then so be it - NO PENALTY

We have been with them for just over 12 months an never had a drop out or any faults

I run 2 computers on a network and between the 2 of them there is prob a constant connection 24/7

Never hit 12 gig but you can easily if you down load dvd's

Another one for Bigpond cable, although i got mine 2 years ago on a 24month contract @ $60/month unlimited downloads. Theres probably heaps cheaper deals around now.

Its very quick and never had any troubles with the connection.

Another tick for AAPT, I have the 12GB plan too and the selling point for me was no contract, free connection, free modem.
Also, I've had no trouble with dropouts with AAPT.
