Just emailed Wheel King to get a quote on the XR5 Wheels and this was there reply:
Genuine Focus LS XR5 in 18x8 with correctly load rated budget Silverstone 225/40 (92W) FTZ EVOL VII tyres would be $3280. Typically, Falken have some correctly load rated tyres that will be an extra $180 the set for ZE512 tyres or $280 per set for their latest FK452 tyres. As far as trading in you wheels, we will need an indication as to what you would be expecting for them. They would also need to be unmarked as far as condition goes. Kind regards and thank you for your enquiry. Just thought I would post it up on here if anyone was interested in getting a set. Cheers Festec (Adrian) |

Damn, I'd reckon it'd almost be cheaper to buy them direct from Ford, although I have no idea for sure.

Your right FESTEC, they are a rip off. You can save more then $1000 and get yourself a much nicer rim(xr5 wheels are still nice) with better tyres. Im starting to see alot of these flower looking wheels around.

The XR5 rims are OK for factory mags but I certainly wouldn't buy them as aftermarket rims. There are 1000's of wheels that look heaps better.

And cheaper...
By the way someone on the XR5 forums had their wheels pinched, or saw a Xr5 on bricks. Be wary of hot rims. |
